One of the most incredible of the evergreen mondo grasses is the far too little-known Ophiopogon umbraticola.  Here it is in flower now for us.  It makes an incredible tight clump, grows a maximum of 6″ tall,  and is the most winter hardy of all the ophiopogon species in cultivation.
