Perennial Native Gourd

Cucurbita foetidissima in flower2A couple of years ago, I saw this amazing plant on a visit to the Denver Botanic Garden.  Curcurbita foetidissima is a Zone 4 hardy perennial gourd, native from Wisconsin south to Texas.  The powder blue foliage is what first captured my attention.  Here it is growing and flowering here at Juniper Level today.  Just curious if anyone else has tried this.
